OURCREW

The RUFF & RUBY CREW are a dynamic collective of creative YOUTH WORKERS, with lived experience, who work across our charity youth projects with young people / young adults aged 11-24 yrs.

They are skilled & experienced in communicating with & relating to young people from diverse backgrounds & cultures and empowering young people to LIVE ON PURPOSE. â€‹

THEY DELIVER:
DIGITALYOUTHWORK

Uth City Phone App - For ages 11+, Uth City is a youth-facing phone app for Android & iPhone, providing a counter-culture digital offer for young people.

 

The setup of the app was funded by Awards For All.

COMMUNITYYOUTHWORK

‘Fresh’ Topic-based Educational/Community Workshops: including schools/colleges, PRUs, APs, & other youth establishments (11+ - Local & National)

Sound Advice Music Studio: Professional recording studio for 11-24s, including 1-2-1s, small groups, & Hip-Hop Academy.

PATRONS

As a youth charity, we are honoured to have two amazing patrons who are invested in making a difference in the lives of young people across the U.K.

JAN WILLIAMS

Jan is mum to pop-star, Robbie Williams.
Robbie's initial 'Give It Sum' fund helped Ruff & Ruby to get off the ground in its' early days. Jan is actively involved in local Stoke-on-Trent charities and has graced us with her wisdom and experience over the years.

RACHEL SHENTON

Rachel is an Oscar-winning actress (The Silent Child), and well-known for her current role in 'All Creatures Great & Small'. She has been actively involved in Ruff & Ruby since the start, having her pre-loved range in the former Ruff & Ruby Roomz, in the Potteries Centre, Hanley, as well as engaging with other projects.
